- The lord of legacy watches over the people of the island and tells them stories of what has passed
- The townspeople enjoy the stories, but begin to see the giant as a symbol of their pain. The giant focuses on telling stories to groups that bring people together in the present
- A young Sirus asks the Giant how to tell stories and is given ink to use, being told to keep it secret
- Sirus begins to see stories as a resource that needs to be shared and owned by the people who they are about. He sees the immediate comfort access to these stories provides as the highest importance
- Sirus fells the giant with others from the community (need to flesh this out)
